LPCC is member to the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) -- a denomination that is committed to the historic and orthodox Christian faith.
At LPCC, we want to help people become joyful worshippers of God. A person's highest purpose is to worship and enjoy God all of his or her days. We want to help people achieve this purpose. As a reflection of this mission, we hold to the following core values:
- Worshipful: Understanding and engaging in the worship of God will continually complete our joy and fulfillment.
- Meaningful: The enthroning of Christ in our hearts will motivate us as individuals and as a church to live consciously and obediently under the grace of God and not by the tradition or the urgency of the culture. Our men, women and children will know why they want to be a church.
- Expectant: Believing that God hears and answers prayer, we will share a radical dependence upon the grace of God and eager hope in what God will do in building His church.
- Reaching Out: Genuinely inviting and welcoming visitors into the family of God, and including them into the “body life” of the church and lives of church members will be accomplished through our ministries.
- Family Commitment: Encouraging and strengthening of families will be done through teaching, example and the opportunities presented by corporate worship, body life, and our other ministries.
- Serving: Effectively serving one another within the church will extend to mercy ministries within the community.
- Equipping: Believing that pastors are the equippers and lay people the ministers, the gifts of men, women and children will be discovered and proper stewardship encouraged.
- Expanding: Actively promoting the Great Commission by pioneering new ministries, planting new churches and sending out our missionaries yearly will be a vital part of our church’s fabric.
